Privacy Policy | Faith and Grind

Who we are

This site, dawhit.com (Faith and Grind), is run by Dustin Whitmore in Winchester, Virginia. Questions about this policy or your information: [email protected].

The Amos app

Amos is a private tool Dustin uses to read, organize, draft, and send email from his own Gmail account ([email protected]) through Google's Gmail API. It is not offered to the public, and no one else signs in to it. Dustin uses an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude) to help him read and draft his own email; it acts only on his instructions.

Google user data

Amos uses Google user data only to run Dustin's own email: reading replies, managing labels, keeping drafts, and sending messages Dustin approves.
It is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising.
It is not used to develop, improve, or train AI or machine learning models.
It is kept on Dustin's own computer and in his private, access-restricted backup. No one else has access.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Amos's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This website

The free 30-day plan signup. If you sign up, we collect your first name, email, and anything else you choose to add: your last name, what you are fighting hardest right now, a prayer request, and whether it is OK to pray for you by first name on our live. We use it to send the plan, a few check-ins over the 30 days, and one email a month after that. Prayer requests stay private. Emails are delivered through Brevo, an email sending service. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
Your journal and check-offs. Answers you write on the Daily Word page and the days you check off on the 30-day plan are saved only in your own browser on your own device. They are never sent to us.
Visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read (for example the page, the site that sent you, your country, and your device type). It does not use cookies and does not follow you to other sites. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which handles the connection to your browser like any web host.
Purchases. The First Hour Kit is sold through Gumroad. Anything you enter there is handled under Gumroad's own privacy policy.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
